Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The Wild Burger is a gourmet burger food truck with its roots set in Western Canada. It began with a passionate chef and his partner surrounded by rich green pine trees, sitting near a glowing campfire in the beautiful Canadian wilderness. Grilling hand-crafted burgers to perfection on the open fire was the ritual, and the reward! As the burger was shared among more friends, around more smoky campfires, the concept naturally grew into The Wild Burger, with the untamable flavour it has today!
Taking inspiration from our previous adventures and playing with flavours reminiscent of Canadian camping culture, The Wild Burger will be delivering hand-smashed burgers and loaded fries wherever people gather around greater Victoria and beyond.
Mission Statement
The bottom line is that we at The Wild Burger simply want to create food that brings joy to the community! We will do this not only through creating burgers with amazing, memorable flavour, but also though sustainable and ethical business practice. Initiatives such as our 100% compostable packaging and zero food wasted goal, where any excess product will be donated to local foodbanks. This will allow us to continuously be giving back to the Greater Victoria community that we live and work in.
Why do we do this? We are a couple that is truly passionate about a few things; good times, bringing people together, great flavour, and the incredible Canadian wilderness. In camping culture there is a saying; “Leave each place better than you found it”. We believe that is true for all aspects of life, so naturally, The Wild Burger will strive to uphold that belief in everyday practices too.
